Coverage Analysis of Physical Layer Network Coding in Massive MIMO Systems

Wireless networks are prone to interference due their broadcast nature. In the design of most traditional networks, this nature is perceived as a performance-degrading factor. However, Physical Layer Network Coding (PNC) exploits by enabling simultaneous transmissions from different sources and thereby enhances performance wireless with respect improvement in spectral efficiency, coverage, latency security system. For fifth generation (5G) beyond, massive multiple input output (MIMO) considered key physical layer technology. Thus, its combination PNC can significantly enhance network, facilitating capacity-coverage improvement, among other benefits. While bit error rate multiuser MIMO-PNC systems through linear detection has been investigated extensively, coverage probability for given target signal-to-noise ratio not explored yet. paper, we derive closed form expression based MIMO employing zero-forcing equalization. Both theoretical simulation results provided number users antennas communications systems.
